Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition. The hotel enjoys a beautiful location on the banks of the Sognefjord the so called King of Fjords. There is a choice of two dining areas. One can only be used for large groups as a private area which is modest in decor but enjoys nice views of the fjord. The other is the regular restaurant which is adorned with an array of traditional furnishings built to resemble viking style furnishings. The hotel consists of two wings, the old wing where the reception and restaurants are located is a traditional wooden villa, the other wing is modern. The lobby area is small in size and cosy and welcoming.
